Intra-District Transfers (school transfer within Oak Grove School District)
An Intra-District transfer/open enrollment is when parents/guardians wish to register/admit/enroll their student(s) at a school other than the designated school that is in their attendance area within their district. California Education Code Section 35160.5(b). The Intra-District Transfer application window has CLOSED for the current 2023-2024 school year. The window is NOW OPEN for the 2024-2025 school year. The window to submit an Intradistrict application is Monday, January 8, 2024 to Friday, March 8, 2024. Please email your completed application to Teresa Flores at tflores@ogsd.net

Inter-District TRANSFERS (school transfer between Oak Grove School District and another District
An Inter-District transfer/reciprocal agreement is when parents/guardians wish to register/admit/enroll their student(s) at a school other than the designated school that is in their attendance area outside of their district. California Education Code sections 46600–46610. Inter-District applications for the 2024-2025 school year are NOW AVAILABLE. Inter-District Board Policy BP5117
Parents/Guardians residing in the boundary of another school district must apply for their student to attend Oak Grove School District. Please obtain and complete an Inter-District transfer application from your district of residence and deliver it to the OGSD District Office for review. Parents/Guardians residing within Oak Grove School District wishing to send their student to another district must complete the form and return it to the OGSD District Office for review. Please see the application for the reasons for a transfer, the process, timeline, approval vs. denial and the appeal process.
