The Oak Grove School District is pleased to introduce its new two-way communication system with families. The district is partnering with ParentSquare to engage parents and guardians in everyday communication. This system replaces Blackboard Connect/ParentLink, OGSD's former communication tool.
 
Oak Grove School District uses ParentSquare for school communication, primarily with email, text and app notifications. ParentSquare automatically generates an account for each parent, using their preferred email address and phone number. We encourage parents to access their accounts so they can download the mobile app and update their preferences on when and how they are notified.
 
Here’s what you can do with ParentSquare:
Receive messages from the school via email, text or app notification
Choose to receive information as it comes or all at once at 6pm daily
Communicate in your preferred language
Comment on school postings to engage in your school community
Direct message teachers, staff and other parents
Participate in group messages
Sign up for parent-teacher conferences with smart online technology
Send payments, sign forms & permission slips, receive report cards, sign up to volunteer and more all from your phone or web portal.

ParentSquare School Communication Opt-Out Form


Oak Grove School District, your child/children’s school, and teachers use ParentSquare to communicate with parents and guardians. This includes emergency messages as well as information closely related to the school’s educational mission. You will receive notifications via e-mail, text, voice call, and posts from ParentSquare, or mobile app and ParentSquare portal, depending on the contact information you have in Infinite Campus (our Student Information System). Parents are automatically registered to receive notifications when they enroll their students.

 

We promise to only send you information closely related to school. You can opt-out at any time. Simply print the Opt-Out Form and take it to your child's school office.
 

To Opt-Out of receiving notifications, you can:

  • Contact your school's secretary with your email and cell phone number
