District and School Communications
The Oak Grove School District recognizes the importance of communicating with parents and guardians to support all students academic success. The following tools are used for parent and guardian communication:
Blackboard Connect - OGSD uses Blackboard Connect for auto-communications using primarily phone calls, text messages and emails. An account is automatically created for each parent, using his or her preferred email address and mobile phone number.
Infinite Campus Parent Portal - This information system allows you to receive District and school announcements and update household contact information. You will be able to change your phone number, email address and specify how you would like to receive information (email, text, call, etc.).
Your unique portal account provides you access to information only for your children or those under your guardianship. It is critical we have updated contact information on the student emergency form. Now you can update this from your mobile device or computer via Infinite Campus Parent Portal. Sign up today!

The District and most schools use social media to share information.

Peachjar Flyer Distribution replaces paper flyers. Schools send e-flyers to families, and outside organizations can send approved e-flyers to all families in the district. Look for the Peachjar icon on your school’s website. Peachjar is used exclusively for distribution of district- and school-approved flyers related to our community events and resources.
Watch for communications from the Superintendent.
Newsletters are sent four times a year to parents and staff with updates on the District, programs, services, budget, and more.
The Report Card is sent two times a year to all of the entire Oak Grove community and residents containing information on what is happening in the District.
