If no home schools are shown, you may reside outside of the Oak Grove School District boundary. For more information about the Interdistrict Transfer process, please see the Interdistrict Transfer section below.
Per Oak Grove School District Board Policy 5116, a newly registered student is to be enrolled in the designated school of attendance for their residential address. For more information about transferring to a school other than the designated school of attendance, please see the Intradistrict Transfer section below.For students and families that qualify for Foster Youth/McKinney Vento please contact the district liaison at 408-227-8300.

Please complete and submit a registration form through Online Registration by clicking on the link below:
- This is only necessary if your student is new to Oak Grove School District
- Please do not submit an application if you reside outside of Oak Grove School District; refer to the Interdistrict Transfer section below
- Online Registration requires a valid email address. If you do not have one, please see your school secretary to apply.
- Paper registration packets are also available at each school site. If you submit a paper Registration Form, there is no need to submit an application using Online Registration

Please print, complete and deliver the following forms to your home school during office hours.
A child cannot be enrolled until all of the required registration documents are obtained. Please bring your personal documents (i.e. Birth Verification, Proof Of Residence) to the home school to be verified and copied to complete the registration process.
For newly registering Kindergarten students, it is recommended to schedule the Health Examination on or after March 1st of their start year to ensure it is within 6 months of their entry into Kindergarten and 18 months of their entry into 1st grade.
In addition to the above forms, please remember to bring the following to the home school for verification:
- Original Certified Birth Certificate OR Passport
- Proof Of Residence
- Immunization Records
- Transfer Form from previous school if applicable
- Copy of IEP (Individual Education Program) if applicable
Transferring into Santa Clara County requires a TB Risk Assessment for School Entry Form within 12 months prior to registration.

Under a new law known as SB 277, beginning January 1, 2016, exemptions based on personal beliefs will no longer be an option for the vaccines that are currently required for school entry in California. All incoming Transitional Kindergarten (TK) and Kindergarten students must provide proof of vaccinations in order to register. If your child is currently in sixth grade and has a personal beliefs exemption on file for one or more vaccines, he/she will not be allowed to start seventh grade until he/she completes the required vaccines or is in the process of receiving a series of required vaccines and is not overdue for the current dose. Personal beliefs exemptions which are already on file for a student who is currently enrolled and attending school will remain valid until the student reaches the next immunization checkpoint at seventh grade.

Transitional Kindergarten (TK)
Transitional Kindergarten Registration for the 2018-2019 school year begins on March 8, 2018.
Parents/Guardians residing in the boundary of another school district must apply for their student to attend Oak Grove School District.
Please obtain and complete an Interdistrict transfer application from your district of residence and deliver it to the OGSD District Office for review.
Parent/Guardians residing within Oak Grove School District wishing to send their student to another district must complete Oak Grove School District's Interdistrict Transfer form, available below, and return it to the OGSD District Office for review.
